Violinist Jung Eun Kang is a passionate musician who has appeared on stages across United States and South Korea as a soloist, chamber musician, and an orchestral player. She is currently a member of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra in Connecticut.

As a soloist, Jung Eun has been the recipient of many top prizes at several national competitions including the Sung Jung Competition, the 30th Busan Music Competition, and Sejong Arts & Culture Foundation Competition. As a chamber musician, she won the Seoul Chamber Music Competition and has collaborated with various artists. Last summer Jung Eun performed with the Sejong Soloists on Korea Tour with Edgar Meyer, Víkingur Ólafsson and Jörg Widmann.

Jung Eun has also attended summer festivals including the String Leadership Program at Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, California where she studied with Glenn Dicterow, as well as the Euro Music festival in Leipzig, Germany.

Jung Eun began studying the violin at age 11, at the Music Prodigy Academy of the Seoul Arts Center. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the Seoul National University in Korea, and a Masters of Music at Yale University School of Music where she is currently a candidate for the Master of Musical Arts under the tutelage of Hyo Kang.
